The “I’ll be happy when…” TRAP to avoid
So many people are waiting for the ‘next best thing’ in order to be happy.
They say things like…
“I’ll be happy when…”
“I have the partner of my dreams”
“I have enough money in my bank account”
“I have the body that I want”
“I have that new car”
“I move into a bigger house”
etc…
That’s like making an unspoken contract with yourself that you’ll be UNhappy until you reach that goal.
And guess what happens when they finally get what they want…?
They move the goalpost further out, so they’re chasing something out there to make them feel happy inside.
This is one of the biggest traps in our society.
And why it’s important to cultivate the practice of being happy NOW.
I have found that the best way to exercise the ‘happiness’ muscle is through a consistent meditation practice.
When you calm the mind, you can observe your thoughts and recognize them for what they are. Just thoughts. Nothing else.
Your thoughts do NOT define who you are.
The calm, peaceful awareness behind the thoughts is who you truly are.
And that’s where happiness stems from.
I’ve found that calm space of awareness using the Muse S headband.
The Muse S is a brain-sensing headband that uses real-time biofeedback to help you find focused calm when needed.
It lets you know when you’re fully present to the moment or when your mind has wandered off.
Once you tap into this calming peace within yourself, it radiates into your world. You’ll go through life with ease and flow. This creates more happiness that comes from within.
To get your very own Muse S headband, click here and take advantage of a 20% discount that I was able to get for you.
This special deal is for a limited time, so grab it now before the promotion ends.
Ready to create a life where you flourish and thrive?
Embarking on a journey of self-love is an ever-evolving path. It’s not always an easy road but worth every step. Clearly, you’re committed to cultivating a more nurturing relationship with yourself, and that’s commendable. If you’ve resonated with these life-changing practices of self-love and feel a nudge towards further exploration, I invite you to schedule a consultation or join my 6-week coaching program.
That's a wrap for this week's rewind! Remember, as the leaves change and the air grows crisp, so can your habits and perspectives. Here’s to a nourishing October, and always remember to embrace your journey with love and wellness.
Stay radiant,
Valerie 💖
